The Ministry of Health of Cambodia has rejected a claim saying that three Vietnamese nationals were tested positive of Covid-19 after they came back from Cambodia, according to the Ministry of Information.

Or Vandin, a secretary of state and a spokeswoman of Health Ministry, rejected the news announcing that three Vietnamese men tested positive for Covid-19 after they returned to Vietnam through the Baveth-Moc Bai border.

“This is not true. In this case, they got infected in Vietnam,” she said.

On 08 September, VN Express published the news saying that three Vietnam men returned from Cambodia on 25 and 26 September through the Baveth-Moc Bai border, connecting Svay Rieng province in Cambodia with Tay Ninh in Vietnam. The trio was tested negative for the first time but positive for the second time.
