MOEYS Gives Green Light to Bak Touk High School to Be Reopened in September
Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports made an official announcement, stating that Bak Touk High School was selected as the first public school to be reopened in September.
An official announcement was made during the meeting on “The Possibility of Reopening Public Schools for Grade 9 and 12” on 25 August under the honorable presiding of Dr. Nath Bunroeun, Secretary of State of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, with the participation of ministers, heads of specialized managing departments, and specialized teachers of Bak Touk High School.
MOEYS asserted: “Bak Touk High School was selected to be first public school to be reopened due to most numbers of grade 12 students nationwide. The possibility of reopening school is focused on direct in-class learning and distance learning through technological means, 15-20 students per classroom, the organized learning schedules, the existed school facilities like the number of teachers, and hygiene measures instructed by Ministry of Health”.
Dr. Nath Bunroeun encouraged the usages of Information and Communication Technology in Education through distance learning and E-Learning during COVID-19 crisis in order to extract the benefits for the future of sustainability of technology and education.
