Pursat Province Attracts Almost 60,000 Visitors During the Holidays
Due to better infrastructures and good security from local authorities, Pursat province captured almost 60,000 tourists in just 5 days on the occasion of Khmer Year holidays.

Som Khim, Director of Pursat Provincial Department of Tourism, stated that during the Khmer New Year holidays from 17 to 21 August, 59,372 national tourists and 34 foreigners spent their holiday exploring natural and tourist sites in the province.
He added that local authorities inspected and advised both tourists and business owners to implement the Six Tourist Safety Policies set by the Ministry of Health in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Also, local authorities advised on the enhancement of Service quality, hygiene, and price ceiling on food for guests who visit the resort area.
Due to the dissemination and advisory from ministry and provincial administration, customer services have notably improved, for example, the sales price at the sites did not remarkably increase. In addition, relevant authorities advised guesthouses, resorts and hotels services to strengthen environmental hygiene at all places throughout the whole province.
It is worth noticing that Pursat has the total of 34 natural and cultural resort areas, including Thmar Da Toch Waterfall, Tompor Mountain, Ta Krahorm Kor Mountain, Chrak Leang Waterfall, Neak Sor Mountain, Bopha Lak Khloun Road, Lbak Kamroun, Stung Chey Chumneas, Koh Sampov Meas, O'Som Waterfall, Chhay Proy Waterfall, Oda waterfall, natural lake Otalos, and Kach Chongkout Mountain.
