Mark Cuban: Time Is the Priceless Asset​

Mark Cuban is one of the most affluent entrepreneurs and investors in the U.S whose current wealth is $4.2 billion, according to Forbes. 

The changes in his life to becoming one of the richest men were possible greatly due to his lifestyle and work ethic. He was known to living in old apartments and working up really late at nights without a vacation for seven years. He had the same house for 18 years and drove the same cars for many years. His commitment to work pays off as he had his first sales of to Yahoo in 1999 for $ 5.7 billion in stocks. Since then, he made a lot of successful business deals and held a large number of stocks. He disclosed that he currently has nearly $1 billion in Amazon stocks.

In 1999, Mark bought a Gulfstream V business jet for $ 40 million online, making his name appear on the Guinness Book of World Records for the single largest e-commerce transaction.

Already having a large sum of investments and wealth, he believes that his precious asset is time. “There are too many examples to count of how the airplane has helped me,” Cuban said in an interview with Business Jet Traveler.“ Flying out after a late-night game to be at a meeting the next morning. Leaving a meeting to get home in time for my daughter’s first daddy-daughter dance. It’s part of my life that I can’t be without. 

“It means I have more hours in my day to spend with friends and family. It means I can get more work done. It means I can travel comfortably with my family. It’s a life- and game-changer.”

Not only does Mark think that buying a private plane is worth it, but Oprah Winfrey also agrees that having a private jet, meaning that she has time for herself and she can decide to go to any place at any time.
