Royal Group Inks An Agreement with Sinohydro to Build A Road in Koh Rong City​

On July 14, Tycoon Kith Meng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Group, signed an agreement with Sinohydro Corporation Limited to build a concrete road with a 70-kilometer long and 8-meter wide in Koh Rong Development Area in Koh Rong City, Sihanoukville province.

The signing ceremony was presided over by H.E Kouch Chamroeun, Shihanouk provincial governor and H.E Chea Vuthy, Deputy Secretary-General of Council for the Development of Cambodia, representative of H.E Sok Chenda Sophea, Ministry attached to Prime Minister and Secretary General of Council for the Development of Cambodia at Goddess of Liberty Hotel and Resort, Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville City, Government officials, armed forces, and other stakeholders also joined the ceremony. 

The road project is worth $35 million and is scheduled to finish in a 16-month period in accordance with the master plan which was approved by The Council for the Development of Cambodia on 09 October 2010.

Speaking after the signing agreement, the parties expected this road construction to help boost the economy of the kingdom.
