80 Cambodian Students Leaves Saudi Arabia through Malaysian Airlines' Flight​

80 Cambodian students studying in Saudi Arabia returned to Cambodia through Malaysian Airlines’ charter flight on July 10, according to the statement of Minister of Information.  

The Cambodian Embassy in Malaysia said Malaysia Airline’s MH762 flight left Kuala Lumpur and arrived in Phnom Penh on Friday evening. In the flight, there were 80 students and 14 Cambodians who stayed in Malaysia.

H.E Chery Vichet, Ambassador to Malaysia, distributed masks to those Cambodian students at the airport. 

He added that the students had thanked the head of Cambodian government Prime Minister Hun Sen and the embassies to Malaysia and Egypt for having facilitated to repatriate them to Cambodia.

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the Malaysian embassy has helped and repatriate a total of 623 people, including Cambodian citizens, migrant workers, and students in times.
